DAY 1/ Sheikh Hussein Border – Jerash – Umm Qais – Madaba – Nebo – Dead Sea
Meeting at the Border. Excursion to Jerash - a city with extraordinary ancient structures, which is better preserved than all other cities of the former Roman Empire in the Middle East. A trip to Umm Qais (Gadara) is one of the cities of the Greco-Roman Decapolis, which was significantly destroyed by the Turks. Now, in addition to the ruins of the ancient city, you can also see the restored residence of the Turkish governor, the archaeological museum . Excursion to Madaba. Visit the Church of St. George, where you will have the opportunity to see a mosaic map of the Holy Land, depicting the territory from the Phoenician city of Tire (Lebanon) to the Nile Delta in Egypt. The next stop is Mount Nebo, the pride of Jordan, a holy place and a stunning corner of the earth, which is captured in the Bible. Mount Nebo became the alleged place of death of the prophet Moses, and most importantly the place where God showed him the Promised Land Transfer to the Dead Sea. Hotel accommodation. Dinner.
DAY 2/ Dead Sea - Wadi Zarqa Ma’in - Wadi ibn Hammad - Dead Sea
Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to Wadi Zarqa main Get ready to get wet: the wide canyon of Wadi Zarqa Ma’in doesn't run deep, but you'll tromp through the river much of the way up as towering walls stretch overhead. Splashing in the waterfall and natural pools at the end of the walk, 3.5km from the wadi entrance, is a great way to appreciate the rugged rock walls of the valley, dotted with ferns and palm trees that cling to the cliffside. The joyful attitudes of local families doing the same only adds to the atmosphere. Next transfer to Wadi ibn Hammad , The Wadi Bin (Ibn) Hammad Hot Spring is situated between Madaba and al-Karak, south of the capital Amman. It is hidden deep in a large valley with lush vegetation, hanging gardens, palm trees, and plenty of water running through a narrow gorge (Siq). , Back to the Dead Sea , Dinner and Accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 3/ Dead Sea – Wadi Moujib – Sheikh Hussein border
Breakfast in the hotel. Wadi Mujib is a spellbinding canyon that towers above the Mujib River and stretches along 70 kilometers. The Mujib River in Jordan flows into the Dead Sea which is the lowest place on earth. There are many excursions that allow visitors the chance to trek through the water, beneath the towering canyons, and into the Dead Sea itself. Sections of Wadi Mujib also cover the Mujib Biosphere Reserve which is home to a number of rare wildlife species , Transfer to the border for departure.
